wow i should really tell my friends mom to stop buying eye creams.. she spends like 200 at counters trying to find the answer to youthful skin. But i knew it was a scam lol .. i work for a store and i learned that alot of businesses that sell really expensive things are a scam lol
Wow, you have no idea how much this helped me. I wasted $47 on eye cream from Clinique with the belief that my eyes needing something richer since it has more sensitive skin. Wish I could return it now actually.
I’m always amazed by comments that show people aren’t listening to, and just don’t want to face, the simple facts. If you can’t recognise the truth when you hear it, that says a lot about your mental and emotional heath – or lack of it! Go on telling the truth Paula – you’ve saved me a lot of wasted money and given me the best skin of my life!
i dont use eyecream and i have used products on my face- those products dont work to get rid of dark circles- i am thinking of using body shops vitamin eye cream because on sale it is like $1 dollar here. I am gonna try it because my friend did and she has no dark circles anymore
Ive bought all sorts of eye creams, some pretty expensive ones too.
I now use plain oilatum (eczema) cream, this works better for me than the clinique, loreal, olay and garnier eye creams! Its pretty rich but its helped the dry skin on my lid and as it hydrates its helping with the dark circles too.
I will find something in gel consistency for use in the daytime..
Have you SEEN some of the things their sneaking into Neutrogena stuff??? The ingredient of concern is triethanolamine (TEA) which has the potential to turn into an extremely potent carcinogen called nitrosodiethanolamine (NDEA). Even more concerning, NDEA is easily absorbed through skin. There is no way of knowing if the concentration of TEA in this product is high enough to be of concerns. I must agree w/ the fact these cosmetic/pharm co’s are really SNEAKY! PLEASE PEOPLE READ INGREDIENTS!
IE, I use a RX Vitamin A on my face and use an eye cream containing Vitamin K and a MILD retinol under my eyes. Everyone’s skin is different and quite a few of my clients need different treatments on different areas of the face.
Actually, the skin is made of about 72% water. If your skin is DRY then yes, you do NOT want to soak it in water. DEHYDRATED skin on the other hand, requires ALOT of water. Actually there are a few eye creams developed just for the eye area that target certain problems that maybe a particular person’s face moisturizer can not treat.
I agreed with what you said about eye creams, I’m 22 years old and thinking that I need one, well now I’m thinking maybe I don’t!
However, do you have any advice to help with dark under eye circles? Mine isn’t severe at all, but sometimes I get annoying dark circles underneath my eyes and I want them to go away instead of just covering it up with concealer.
